The Kids Walking For Kids fundraising drive culminates with an entertainment-filled evening of live music, games, team-building activities, prizes and delectable food. The night concludes with a sunset luminary memorial walk and Gateway Fireworks. Fundraising teams can win iPods, a music party complete with food and prizes, a 5-day family getaway, gift cards, and more. 100% of the money raised will be used to support research of early onset mood disorders and for suicide prevention programs for children

The Edward Jones Family YMCA will be hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:15 p.m.) at the May Center (DePaul Hospital) located on 12303 DePaul Drive in Bridgeton. The Women of the Moose will be hosting a Trivia Night. The Oasis Women's Center is a safe place for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. This event will be at the Edwardsville Moose Lodge at 7371 Marine Rd., Edwardsville, IL. Tables6-8 people, $100 a table in advance, $120 at the door. Admission includes draft beer and soda.
