Just look for the picture of Guy Phillips (as shown below) and take a donation coupon when you check out at Schnucks and your contribution to heat up St. Louis will be added to your grocery bill. The money stays in your community, to help the needy stay warm.

During the month of January, through February 6, all Missouri and Illinois Schnucks supermarkets will have on display at their check-outs and service desks, Schnucks Scan and Give to Heat-Up St. Louis donation coupons. The grocery customers will have the opportunity to add any size donations onto their receipts by merely tearing-off and handing to the checkers. Funds collected in Missouri or Illinois will stay in their respective communities. The tax-deductible donations can be used in any combination of
$3 and $2 coupons. Heat-Up St. Louis, a regional all-volunteer, not-for-profit, energy assistance charity helps seniors, the disabled and needy households pay their high delinquent heating bills. Qualified applicants will receive one-time grants based on their income and health eligibilities through one of Heat-Up's 14 social service and community action agency partners.
